As the trees grow more colorful and the weather turns cooler, we welcome autumn!

Our second season is coming in! As with summer, this will bring some new traits and items to the site, as well as new seasonal prompts, backgrounds and a new seasonal theme!

PROMPTS

Earn the new seasonal currency, candy corn, by completing the newly released Seasonal Autumn prompts! You may also want to visit the new daily, Candy Corner, for a piece of candy corn each day during autumn.

This season comes with 3 new traits that work on any species: Mechanical , Spectral and Translucent! Pay a visit to Fire & Steelworks, Freaque Antique and Aknaras' Grotto to exchange your candy corn for a new look!

Arkusterra DISCOVERED

Arkusterra, the realm of the dragons has been discovered! You can now read up on the new species, the Dragons,  in the species section.

Arkusterra is a wide realm and home to many creatures and monsters.
The most fearsome and impressive of them are definitely dragons, but there are also smaller, more friendly creatures that you may wish to meet…

The faun realm has been discovered to be in trouble..undead creatures rise from the earth, devouring hearts and brains!! Oh, they don’t? well…still!

Ihrutia, the realm of Faun has been uncovered! But not only does that mean a new species joins the roster, there's also trouble brewing right away...Haelfryn, a dark sorcerer,  gained access to bits of reflection magic- and has begun resurrecting faun, turning them into the living dead! While not inherently evil, some of these risen creatures have begun causing issues all over the realm. It is up to your character to help by learning about them and fighting them back!

As per usual with events,  you can earn magic , by completing the newly released Faun VS Zombie Prompts! However, that is not all there is to it this time. For completing prompts you will also earn event marks that count toward a grand total! Visit the Event Tracker page for more information on how to participate and how rewards will work.

Now that Quibon is over, your characters may need some time to unwind. Earn 80 by showing off how they do it!

The Quibon Festival Returns

Duration: July 1st - August 1st, Realm: Candoris (but any character can join!)

Some people from a long time ago may remember Quibon, a summer festival that is celebrated in Candoris! Every year around the June and July months, people gather in the brightly coloured district of Qui in Lumen to celebrate Quibon! During Quibon Gleamstic gather in the city to celebrate for five nights with a giant Masquerade ball. Everyone dresses up to become a different person for a night (or five if they have the energy!) It is said that during this tradition, spirits like to show up and visit their loved ones. That being the case, the festival is a friendly and peaceful event. No one never knows if the next person they meet may be the spirit of a loved one. During these five nights of celebration, there are carnival rides, music, games and intricate hologram and fireworks shows. During the day, while more toned down, there's still food stands and games to be enjoyed. Gleamstic of Qui like to dress in East Asian fashion inspired clothes, and like to hide behind heavy makeup or masks. It is encouraged to follow this dress code during the festival, even for tourists.

It's summer season

Realm: Any!

Candoris is not the only realm that knows how to have some fun in summer. Besides special events and occassions, there are many other way to relax and have a good time. So, have a good one with your characters and enjoy the sun, the ocean, some ice cream or whatever you like to do in summer. Realms Away strives to give you something to work on during all four seasons regardless of other events that may be going on, and these activities will be returning each year (albeit in different forms).

Summer prompts

Earn the new seasonal currency, ice cream, by completing the newly released Seasonal Summer prompts: Beach Fashion, Calm Down Cocktails, You VS Waves and Holiday on Ice Cream. You may also want to visit the new daily, Cool & Sweet, for a free ice cream sample each day during summer.

This season comes with 2 new traits that work on any species: Melting and On Fire! Pay a visit to Freaque Antique and The Greenhouse to exchange your ice cream for a new look!

Welcome party!
This month we are celebrating the start of Realms Away and arrival of all the New people! Draw something for them to earn 80!

As a fellow artfight enthusiast I have seen other ARPGs do this - and I love the idea of it.
For this year's official artfight, you will be able to earn bonus coins on artwork! It's a win-win because it follows the spirit of artfight while also giving us a great opportunity to breathe more life into Realms Away~ Any artwork related to RA will award you 10 bonus coins! The July event prompts will also award bonus coins on top of the event currency to encourage participation.

How does it work?

1. Post your Realms Away related characters on artfight! Tag them with 'realmsaway' to make it easier to find them.
2. I would appreciate a link back to this site in their description to help spread the word <3
3. Attack a Realms Away character on artfight!
4. Go to the Artfight 2023 prompt and submit it with a link to the artfight attack to get your bonus coins. Don't forget to add your criteria rewards too!
5. If you want, you can also submit your artfight art in our Artfight 2023 gallery.

I, for one, hope to get at least 50 attacks in...
