As you may have heard, us Sunborn are facing a bit of a...complication. We are looking to hire adventurers to help us keep the upperhand in this conflict.

While peace with the Moonborn has officially been made, there are still groups that blame the Sun for many misdeeds. All of which are untrue, of course.

The most disgraceful of them calls themselves the 'Red Moon'. They have been working from the shadows to rally more support for a long while.

Their numbers are small, so we have not been too worried so far. However, recently, they started adding Alters to their ranks.

(You give Solana a questioning look)

You don't know what Alters are yet? Ah. They are certainly more common here than elsewhere...Essentially, an Alter is someone that can transform with the help of a companion creature.

While not permanent, it gives the user a considerable strength boost - but most importantly, thanks to companion magic, allows for safe and easy travels through the reflection.

Which means they have opened a whole new world of resources, and firepower. We can't keep ignoring this.

As such, we should improve our own efforts and train more Alters-

(Suddenly, Solana seems alarmed. Her eyes narrow.)

I see we have an unwelcome guest.

I simply want to bring forward my own offer as well. It is only fair, after all.

You, adventurer. You're not just going to believe such a one-sided account, are you? The Red Moon has noble ideals too. We are not violent, we simply want the Sun to admit their faults.

They have been keeping the Moon, us, under their boots for too long. Why should only they get to shine?

I propose you make a decision. Help us right past wrongs, or help her upkeep the old ways.

Please, do not believe a word he says. He's nothing but a cunning warmonger. The Sun needs your help to protect all Lovabuns.
