Terms of Use

By using this website, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you cannot use or access this site. The materials contained in this web site are protected by applicable copyright and trade mark law and belong to their respective creators. 

Membership

Users must be at least 18 years of age to join this site. Any user who is found to have circumvented this by lying will have their account terminated.
It is the user's responsibility to use a secure email and password. Accounts are limited to use by one user, and users are limited to one account. Users who have had their accounts terminated may not make new accounts. Accounts may not be transferred between users. The user is solely liable for all activity conducted on their account. If you suspect your account has been compromised, please contact staff immediately. We reserve the right to terminate or take other disciplinary action against any user for any reason without notice. All virtual items and currency housed on here are liscensed for use by the user while their account is open. If a user is terminated or banned, the contents of their account, save for characters, will be forfeited with no compensation.

User Submitted Content

To take part in the game, users are allowed and encouraged to submit their own content. User content is provided by, and is solely the responsibility of, the user who has submitted that content. We do not take responsibility for content that is submitted to this website or what effects it may have on you. Some submissions have to go through approval by a team of mods to ensure that the content is suitable for the website. User submitted content is any content (images, text, audio, video, links to other websites) that is submitted to this website by a user. When submitting content, the user must make sure that they have the right to submit it - especially if it is not their own original content. Please report any questionable content should you come accross it.

The following content is not allowed on this site:

  • pornographic or obscene content, including heavy kink/fetish works, except for: 
    • NSFW works may be posted if they are censored and behind content filters, uncensored works must be kept off-site.
    • Non-sexual nudity is allowed behind content filters.
    • For references, doll nudity is allowed (this means no visible genitalia/nipples)
  • offensive, hateful, harmful or defamatory content
  • unlawful content
  • content that endangers the right to someone else's privacy
  • excessive gore/shock content, except for:
    • light violence/gore (blood, bruises, cuts) may be posted if placed behind a content filter and  MAY NOT be excessive/targeting any groups/have hateful content.

User Conduct

We reserve the right to ban users that do not abide by these terms. You agree to the following terms:

  • do not  harass or otherwise cause harm to others. Do not intentionally cause drama or disruptions. 
  • do not use the site for any unlawful actions

Feature Changes and Balancing

As the site progresses through plots and new features are added, old features may be subject to change. This includes but is not limited to: Items being retired, prices of items changing, currency rewarded for site activities or artwork being adjusted. Unless specifically announced otherwise, users are not eligible for compensation when such a change occurs. Rest assured, however, that we strive to make changes for the betterment of the community.

Limitations

In no event shall Realms Away or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption,) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on the website. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

Updates to the Terms of Use

Updates to these terms can be made at any time and without notice. By using this web site you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these Terms of Use that will always be accessible in the footer.

art rules

Credit

  • Art and designs made by users will always belong to the user, this site takes no credit for it.
  • We take credit for the species only if a character belongs to a Original Species.  Generic species are meant to be takes on existing species, nothing more.
  • We take credit for the lore surrounding Realms Away.
  • When uploading art, make sure you have the permission to, and credit the artist properly.
  • Do not steal, trace, copy or otherwise misuse other people's art.
  • Please do not put Cylunny as creator of a character on toyhou.se unless Cylunny designed it.

artwork

  • All art must be created by a human. We do not accept AI art of any form, be it written or drawn.
  • All artwork must follow the user submitted content guidelines
  • You may create your own characters for any world, as long as they fit their respective realm and you own a MYO item for the species (see below).
  • When buying an adoptable/character, the rules of the adoptable creator are to be followed.
  • Do not steal, trace, copy or otherwise misuse other people's designs and characters.
  • Prices for their art/characters is set by the user themselves, not by this site.
  • All character & prompt uploads will go through approval by mods (Via MYO items) to ensure they fit their realms and do not break any rules.
  • If you see anything that goes against these rules, please bring it up to a moderator.
