An award  to show your lopi love

Similar to how Gleamstic had their award, we now also have an award for those of you who may have a thing for collecting Lopilu! This award can be unlocked on the award page, and will grant you an extraordinary trait + some coin on top- if you own at least 5 Lopilu!

What's next...

While we are at it, I wanted to share some info on how character awards will hopefully come to you in future! Now that we are through the species introductions (at least until October), every event is planned to also unlock new awards for owning 5 of that species, as well as unlock their extraordinary traits for you!

In the same vein, I hope to introduce craftable MYOs next month - which will also slowly roll out for each species. This is quite a bit more complicated, but I'd like to share the way these are intended to work with you! 

1. Do a prompt to unlock the MYO recipe for the species
2. Cultivate a generic MYO ingredient at the Magical Laboratory
3. Buy a generic MYO ingredient from the Reflection's Crossroad for 25 coin (may be limited to x per month)
4. Do a prompt that rewards a species specific MYO ingredient
5. Optional: do a prompt that rewards a special species specific MYO ingredient for the more rare slots
6. Optional: do a prompt that rewards an award for having made a myo this way (prerequisite is completing prompt from 4).

Not to worry, however - MYO slots can still be bought in shops as well, if you prefer that. I am excited to work on all of this!

Uncover lost Knowledge

Duration:  May 1st - June 1st, Realm: Lopilands (must be completed with a Lopilu!)

On one of your journeys through nightglade, two mysterious individuals approach...Help these two mysterious Lopilu find their lost boss, and uncover the secret of a lopilu transformation lost to time.

This is officially the first event without a new species introducion! Hopefully you will enjoy it just as much. It is also the first plot centered event, which means that prompts and new plot acts will be released on a weekly basis! In order to get the best out of the experience, it is recommend that you read the act dialogues first and then check out the related event prompts. You can read all acts of "The Search for the Lost" in the event plot library at any time. Note that these dialogues are not optimized for mobile and may be a bit difficult to read there.

Get your own Lopilu

Since this event is focued on Lopilu & Lopilu lore, most prompts must be completed with a Lopilu. In order to make this easier for you, you can earn a Lopilu MYO by completing the "A wish on the Fountain" prompt! Also, stay tuned for a FTO Lopilu batch opening later today~

Discover new Lopilu traits

They have been seen around for a while, but are finally official! We have a whopping 5 new lopilu traits available for you now! Three new ear shapes that will later tie in to the event reveals, as well as the new Silk Trails and first official release of the Royal Mane trait, if you complete all event prompts. To make thing less stressful and because the plot concerns a permanent topic, the once per user Royal Mane prompt is going to persist forever on site - so you will not lose the chance of the Royal Mane trait even after May is over!

All uncommon to rare trait items will now stock at the Greenhouse and Freaque Antique!

Meet the Summer 2024 GAs!

I am so excited to reveal the first batch of freshly baked Guest Artists for Realms Away to you! It was a difficult choice, and me and the mods have mulled over it together. There were definitely people we highly considered but couldn't quite fit in space wise this time around, so please do not be disheartened and try again next time if you are still interested. We had so many lovely applications ;_;

Without further ado - Congrats goes to kruzbr, Ephrionus, Siph0nn and MissTrinity! We're so happy to have you on board and see what you will come up with for the summer term :)c

The plan for the future, assuming this works well, is to completely rotate GA, so that next time four new ones may be chosen, and no one gets two terms in a row to give others the time to shine! 

Guest Artist Applications are open

Applications are open until the 28th of April 2024.
GA should be picked at the start of May!
The GA term will last for May, June and July. Designs will be due end of May and June.

We are looking to accept 4 new Guest Artists for a 3 month Term. 2 months of those are for creating designs, and the third month is a transition period where your designs may still be sold, but you will not be designing any new ones. During this time, new GA applications may open. If you would like learn more & apply as a GA, please read the info on the form below & fill it out!

User Design Terms

Newly added this handy extension! You will now be able to set your design terms in your settings page, either as an external link or text on-site. This will affect the following:

• your profile will show your design terms as a link
• any character you designed will list your terms under the new terms tab

If no terms are listed, a warning to mind the artists off-site TOS is shown instead on each character you designed.

Rewards for generous donors

The Crimson Rescue has opened a new support program which will reward anyone that donates to it 25 once a week! They hope that this will incentivise people to donate unwanted items. This has also been added to the daily task checklist for easier tracking. Staff at the rescue will also keep track of who donated what (and how much of it), so that you might see related awards and special rewards for it in the distant future...

Thanks to finding more willing helpers, the Crimson Rescue is now capable of also caring for companions. They will also accept coin donations directly now! Of course, you are still welcome to wrap your gift before donating it.
