Say Hi to Lorekeeper 3.0

First things first, not much should change for you...but getting this update done was a struggle. 319 merge conflicts to resolve within ~10 hours of work, then hours of fixes because most sites broke from complex merges...but I prevailed!

Still, I expect there to be many nooks and crannies I did not cover with my trying to find all bugs. So I will need your help! Please send reports on discord in the #bug-report channel, so I can compile a list of things to fix that got past me, or that only occur because of the data on our host (and not locally). Every first submission of a bug will earn 10 coins! 

Please help catch the pesky critters, and I ask for your patience as always because I am so exhausted now ;U;7

It's Mushroom Season

Belated, but not forgotten - I am happy to announce we will have an additional seasonal trait for all upcoming seasons! Autumn starts us off with the Fungal trait, earned by obtaining the Savory Mushroom Soup. And where do you get it? Well! A new shop: Mystery Treats! I have wanted to add a place where I can add food item designs, and this just worked out perfectly. The new shop will be filled with more items as Realms Away progresses, but may be a bit more barren for now - please excuse that! Whether you should trust everything that Soup and Cream cook up, though...that's for you to decide.

Minor Trait Changes

In the same vein due to more seasonal traits being planned, some existing traits were edited slightly - some for clarity, others to be coherent with planned traits:

• Melting was renamed to Goopy to better reflect that it allows for jelly/goo like addons on top of just melty details. The item art and name has been changed to reflect this change as well: Enchanted Candle turns into Gooey Candle!
• Floral does no longer cover Mushrooms or Coral, however, if you already have a design planned with these elements and got the Soul Bloom for it, you will be able to exchange the Soul Bloom for one of the new trait items in future by sending in a claim!
• Mechanical now only covers metallic materials, but you will be getting more with a trait in future. Same as above, you will be able to exchange this trait once the new ones release!

Introducing: Adventures

I have spoiled this for a while, and finally have the first wave of this new content done. This alone was like 90 dialogue options + the result, and around 30 fullbodies to prepare. All in all, inputting the data took me like 4 hours, and the fullbodies I don't even want to think about. So I really hope you will enjoy these little flavourful new daily adventures!

What are Adventures?

Just places you can go to explore! You will find them under play, and then adventures. Each day, you can go on two adventures before your energy runs out. There, you may encounter different characters and situations...your decisions can lead to rewards, or nothing, or sometimes negative rewards.

The Harvest fields are a seasonal adventure, only available during autumn! So keep that in mind when exploring. Feel free to keep track of each options outcome somewhere, but if you want to discuss it please use the spoiler channel on discord. We don't want to spoil anything for those who wish to discover all there is themselves.

In future, i have more encounters for existing areas and more areas planned, as well as a way to unlock MYO drops from adventures! But this is a lot of work, so we start here for now.

Seasonal Traits

This season returns with previous autumn traits: : Mechanical , Spectral and Translucent! Additionally, Zombified was turned into the fourth autumn trait.

Companions

Two autumy companions have appeared between the leaves...Wormwoo and Umbrel! Check them out on the companion index! They are available at the Greenhouse and Joyous Toys respectively.

Candoris VS Aliens

Duration:  September 1st - November 1st, Realm: Candoris (but can be completed by any character!)

Every year, Lumen runs an event in which the two Gleamstic kings, the King of Afterglow and the Alien King, face each other in a clash. Well, not directly - it is up to their followers to earn their favour by competing in different events all over the city! The king that earns the most favour by the end will be crowned the "True King" for a year until the next event. It's a Gleamstic tradition that was founded a year after the Aliens first appeared on Candoris, and has been hotly anticipated every year since.

This is a team event! That means you will work together to earn favour and get your chosen King the win! All favour you earn via prompt submissions automatically go towards the team you pick below.

The team that manages to win more favour decides which theme an upcoming Gleamstic raffle design will have! You will also be able to purchase various new and old Gleamstic traits for favour.

In order to earn favour for your team, you can complete event prompts! One of which is just a prompt that grants bonus coin and favour for any Gleamstic art. Let's show the glowies some love! 

It's alien time

Finally, the time has come for alien Gleamstic to be available outside of the starter orbs! Their MYO item stocks at Pearl's Precious regularly, but during this event, you can also buy it from the Royal Favours shop for, well, favours!

Obtain rare Gleamstic Traits

Both regular and new extraordinary traits are now available for favour! We get the return of the Rainbow Glow trait, but also for the first time you get access to the Dim Glow and Fantastical Gleamstic traits! These extraordinary traits are event exclusives, so you may want to prioritize them...
