A story of Prey and Predator

Duration:  April 1st - May 1st, Realm: Varelia

As you continue to care for your orb and assist the adventurer's guild, you come across a peculiar lopilu in vinegrove. She calls herself Raleira, and claims to have information on what exactly these strange orbs are. Careful and sceptical at first, she agrees to share her secret as you show her your Humming Orb. Will you care for it further, or destroy it to be safe? It is your choice to make up your mind as you follow her story...

Welcome to the second part of the orb event - which I can now reveal to be the introductory event for Ravorbis, the magic eaters! They are a species whose nature directly opposes that of beastling. No one quite knows where they came from, but all things in due time. For now, your adventure around them is ready to continue! There are many things to do.

Meet the Magic Eaters

You might want to familiarize yourself with the Ravorbis a little before continuing your journey. It is highly suggested you do the following things first:

• Listen to Raleira's story (aka read a comic I prepared for this event. Chapter 1-2 are released now, the other 3 will hopefully follow throughout april!)
• Read up on some Ravorbis lore

Your own Ravorbis

As some of you may have guessed, the humming orb serves as a stage towards a Ravorbis MYO. Unlike other species, Ravorbis MYOs will only be available through adventuring, crafting and cultivation. As the process is a little more complex, you can read up on it in this guide. But these are roughly the next steps you may want to take assuming you already have a humming orb:

• Gain Raleira's Trust (unlock a new cultivation area)
• Build a Magical Leaf Bedding (complete a prompt to get the recipe, then gather the needed items from adventures)
• Cultivate your Humming orb in the new Secret Place!

New Species, new Traits (and Transformations)

Of  course, all the info on the new species has also been updated! Ravorbis are special in that their traits and shell transformation will need to be worked for via crafting and prompts, as they are very rare. 

Awards, awards, awards

As with all other species, you can unlock Ravorbis specific awards! They are all going to stay available, but the event award for this event will not! So it is suggested to prioritize that one. The "Predator and Prey" event prompt will need you to create your first spirit orb Ravorbis, and send a prompt with it in!

The mystery of lost orbs

Duration:  March 1st - April 1st, Realm: Varelia

Upon exploring, more and more adventurers have happend upon mysterious, semi-translucent orbs in the wicked woods. Lacking in color, they are neither glass nor gemstone, and it is presently unclear what exactly they are - but they seem to be something magical. To figure this mystery out, the Adventurer's Guild has called for searches to bring back more of these orbs for examination. Additionally, they seems to resonate with different nature items, so collecting those is also going to be part of the study. Will you help them?

This is the first part of an event all about strange orbs! In order to take part, you must either find a Lost Orb in the wicked woods, or complete an event prompt that grants you one! Then, you may want to check out the new Natural Mystery collection which contains some fauna and flora that the orb seems to react to. It will unlock a way to enrichen your Lost orb and upgrade it to a Humming orb - an item that will be expanded on in the second part of the event. Can you make it?

Snowfall Season

Winter is coming, get cozy!

Earn dark and light essences by completing the newly released Seasonal Winter prompts! Due to January being a month of site maintenance, there will only be two prompts with more rewards this year so that you can make up for one less month of time more easily.

(The Arma Caeli seems to glower at you, agitated.)

CERBERUS

You feeble creatures have no idea what you've done with your foolish actions, even now.

CERBERUS

Although it seems you are finally noticing the...consequences. Judging by your latest attempts to counter the - what do you call it? - rift instabilities.

CERBERUS

Sorry to say, but you're not going to find success in that. The reflection has been compromised too much.

CERBERUS

You may even just be making it worse with your ignorance.

Narrator

(Cerberus laughs, but there is no joy in it.)

CERBERUS

Fear not! That's precisely why I am here...and why my brothers and sisters have spread across realms.

CERBERUS

You might be powerless but we...we are connected to the reflection. Born from it. A bond you trespassers will never come close to understanding.

CERBERUS

Be grateful that we have been sent on this mission, for we will seal all rifts for you - permanently.

CERBERUS

The reflection needs peace to heal, rid itself of all the foreign objects you dragged there.

CERBERUS

You wonder why I tell you all of this? It's simple.

Narrator

(The Arma Caeli cracks a mischievous smile.)

CERBERUS

It's because you won't remember anyway.

CERBERUS

We've developed a means to make you forget all of this ever happened. Realm travel, other realms, rifts and the reflection.

CERBERUS

A spell of unprecedented dimensions that will be set up spanning all realms, so that you may never wander and destroy anymore.

CERBERUS

I suggest you spend the time you have left with this knowledge wisely, while you can.

Narrator

(The heavenly being laughs before vanishing into thin air. You feel queasy.)

A cruel Reality

Duration:  December 1st - January 1st, Realm: Any

Faced with a cruel reality presented by the Arma Caeli Cerberus, the true conundrum is unveiled. At risk of losing all memories of other realms and the means to travel to them, what will your character do? Will they submit to the plan laid out before them to save the reflection? Or will they fight for a fairer cause, to retain all memory, bonds, and relationships they forged across realms? Whichever be the case, show us your character's struggle and strife! You never know what change your efforts may bring. Do not lose hope!

For this update, a new event prompt has been added. It will grant you magic, and allows you to flesh out your characters actions following this cruel revelation. 

PLEASE NOTE. Even though the plan of the Arma Caeli is to bring an end to realm travel, this does not mean it will succeed. Please refer to the V3 plans or discord channel for this- None of your inter-realm plots or characters will be broken up or removed, unless you choose that option!
