Serpents are half humanoid, half snake creatures. Generally, they tend to be dangerous if provoked, sometimes even just for the heck of it. Their bodies, especially their tails, are strong - pure muscle, with some individuals producing fatal venom. It is rumoured that the land and seas were created by two serpents of enourmous size. Whether that is true or not remains a mystery.
