Nimare (basically, merfolk!), often called fish people. A highly advanced society that has built many cities below the waves, inaccessible to humans or those who exclusively breathe air (at least, without assistance). The Nimare are humanoids that usually have features of fish, but some of them take after cephalopods instead. They are built more sturdy than surface dwellers, with study, horn like claws on both feet and hands, as well as reinforced, thick lower arms. These arms serve to improve their swimming speed alongside their tails. They are, however, the fastest in their mer-form, which allows them to trade legs for a tail (or tentacles). While not all Nimare make use of this skill, it is one inherent to them all.
