Hey there, I'm Koi!

I'm a 24 year old artist currently living in Finland with my two cats and adoring fiancee. I like character-based games such as RPGS and MMOs, with a particular affection towards the Pokemon franchise, Final Fantasy XIV Online and Animal Crossing. In my spare time I like to collect (when I have the means to do so) and I like to draw. Since I am unable to get a job due to an unfortunate coctail of mental and physicial disabilities, I have alot of time for art! I try not to limit myself to what I can and can't do when I make art and I enjoy experimenting. Although I find it rather difficult to keep up with lore in most games and things I play due to an abysmal attention span, I think I'm keeping well enough here.

For me, what draws me to Realms Away is the prompts side of things, I've reached a point with my art that I know what I'm good at (Portraits) and I want to expand it out and challenge myself, and Realms Away's rewards give me enough insentive without too much pressure. I've enjoyed prompt based games/challenges in the past, such as FFXIVWrite, or Inktober, but this really draws me in with it's structure and depth compared to the previous examples. I joined last year around the time of artfight but didn't manage to get an OC submitted in time to participate and was a little overwhelmed by other things. Hopefully this year I am able to participate in Realms Away's Artfight events much better.

All in all, I'm very excited and enthusiastic about what's here, and I'm always open to new friendships and plotting about this! Although I do have a bit of a hobby juggling problem, if I'm still enthused I'll be happy to plot and plan with you!
