The mission leaves every girl in a terrible, exhausted state. All of them look like they are not waking up anymore. Those who are still conscious have bags under their eyes and have been dozing off at any moment. But at least the realm is in peace now, and gladly, none of them were killed during the crazy, large-scale battle. Their companions are also drained out; they'll need a long time of rest and delicious food to gain back the lost artifact power. Both humans and the critters got too tired; they don't have enough power to return to their own realm. I had no other choice; all the humans stay at Tsukino's house in Ihrutia, a cozy wooden house with lots of plants and hand-made decorations. Hoshi has some compliments on it, saying finally their commander has overcome traumas, leaving her past self of a war criminal to live normally like any of them. It's such an unexpected development; the girls never thought Tsukino would like vintage and natural things like this. Tsukino only smiles and answers them gently. She tells some stories about herself—about how she learned to adapt to this new lifestyle and how she found lots of new hobbies to cure her mental illness without seeking help from outsiders. While they were having some talk, the tired girls retreated to their bedrooms for some sleep. An hour later, the rest of them went by the same.

But this house was large and cozy for one person to live in, not ten. Even though Tsukino tries to convince them to let her make some expansions for everyone, Kiriko tells her she doesn't have to. The others were agreeing to that because they knew better than ever that Tsukino was more than exhausted. She pushes herself over the limit again and again to ensure safety for everyone here, and now she's going to do that one more time. Kiriko holds Tsukino in her arms, not letting her go, while Kirifuren takes some unused mattresses under the bed. With Yukino's help, they carry it out of the house and smash it onto the steady walls to let the dust fall out. Hoshi finds some draps or big pieces of fabric that's going to be used in Tsukino's future handmade decor. When Kirifuren and Yukino brought the mattress back inside, she covered them with the newly crafted draps. There are enough beds for 4 people, the couches for 2 people, and the other 4 will sleep on the floor. When dusting off the last cushion, Yukino looked up at the sky, and her eyes started to get filled with joy and happiness.

- Hey, look, Kirifuren! It's started snowing!

The woman dressed in red looks up, following Yukino's eyes. It's very cold as the winter has come for one month, and this is not the first time it snows. She doesn't get it; why was Yukino that excited? Maybe she'll never understand children's thoughts, but to make the little catgirl happy, she smiles along with her and says,.

- Yes, the snow is beautiful, isn't it? Let's quickly finish this work and get inside. It will get cold soon.

The two return to the house, where Hoshi has finished setting up their places to sleep. Kiriko has stopped holding Tsukino; they were talking about tomorrow's plan. Yukino runs to their place and points to the outside.

- Hey, commander! It's snowy! We'll get lots of snow tomorrow!

Her innocent, upbeat voice fills grownups' hearts with a fresh sense of joy. Tsukino looks at Yukino and Kirifuren, then says they should go to sleep. It's 11, and it's too late for a child. A quick goodbye, and then all the girls get to their place.

Considering how hard she's worked and how many things she's done, Tsukino is the one who got up last in the morning. She's exhausted to the point of no return, so she may need to sleep for longer than usual. Honestly, she won't wake up on her own at this hour, but she was startled out of her dream by a loud noise. It's the sound of a snowball hitting the window. She looks out, seeing the little crumbled parts of the shattered ball slowly slide down the window frames. Are the children of this village returning here and playing around already? After the fight, a lot of places are heavily damaged, and people there, especially children and weak people, often hide in bunkers for a few days before going up and continuing their lives. The answer comes to her eyes as soon as she starts wondering, it's her troops. They are… playing snowball fight? Tsukino rubs her eyes and looks again. They are all grownups, all criminals and has committed unforgivable things! Why are they having such a childish fun by the game of snowballs?

Grabbing a thick coat to cover herself from the cold, Tsukino walks outside. Tokuko and Yashi didn't join the fight. They sat by the door of the house, discussing the last mission and how much near-death experience they had been through together, but Yashi quickly disappeared as Tamao joined in the fun. When people asked this girl where she had gone in the battle, she was just joyfully telling them she had escaped the forest before they arrived, wandering around without meeting any dangers. She hangs out in new locations, so we can say that this reckless girl is enjoying those moments. And now, a sadist like her is approaching the kids' game, stacking snow in a pyramid, and then snipping them out when they're just the right size to throw. Tsukino is really confused, but instead of asking and breaking the fun, she comes sit down next to Tokuko and watches the people express their stress and pressure with every snowball thrown.

Yukari was in the thickest clothes because it's very easy to catch a cold. Thanks to all the clothes, she looks like a moving fuel tank and finds it very hard to move around. She becomes a moving target for everyone to aim for. Every time the poor girl tried to stand up and fire a wave of counterattack, she got hit by a few snowballs and collapsed again. She struggles like a turtle that got upside down. Her face was so red; was it because of the cold or because she was embarrassed when people were laughing at her? At last, she gave up on trying to counterattack, waited until people stopped paying attention to her, then stood up and rammed the snow pyramid of Tamao. The way she laughed after that was just like a child. How pure.

Hoshi is a very skilled fighter with a quick-hit, quick-win style. She shoved her hand into the cold ground and picked up crumbled soft snow that got thrown away without becoming a snowball first. Those hits often have less damage, but she can throw them faster. It's a fair way. Together with her quick moving speed, Hoshi becomes a hard target to take down. But her hits were too weak to knock out anyone, in the end she got a full counterattack from Kiriko and starts sneezing non-stop. Tokuko escorted her into the house to avoid getting sick. One player out!

Kirifuren isn't a fighter; she tends to defend herself and looks like she was forced into this game. Being a mature woman with not so much experience playing with children, she only circles around to avoid staining her clothes and rarely throws a snowball, and it's so slow that the younger girls dodge it easily. Kiriko is the complete opposite. She's like a maniac on the battlefield with her quick speed at making snowballs. Every attack from her preserves high speed and absolute accuracy. She's a monster that no one dares to face.

But she has only one enemy, and that's Sasaki. The pink-haired girl was also a skilled snowball fighter like her, and she knows how to kite around and trap Kiriko into losing her opportunities. This small fight slowly turns into a serious strategic battle, with Sasaki and Kiriko in full swing of tension. Kirifuren was too careful to join, and she pulled Yukino over. Poor little girl, she has been drowned in the attacks from two warlike fighters. She lays still on the floor, with only her head showing up from the pile of snow. She should've caught a cold, so Kirifuren puts her next to the fireplace with Hoshi. Tamao has been going crazy since her snow pyramid got destroyed, and then she tripped, hitting her head on a log nearby. Tsukino escorted her into the house in a rush. She's okay with no bleeding or wounds, but Tsukino doesn't let her continue fighting. After all, there's only Kiriko and Sasaki on the field.

Who is going to claim the victory this time?
