About
Gaianu, a magical land inhabited by humans, demons and angels. Generally, when referring to Gaianu, people mean to address the middle area which is mostly inhabited by humans and located between the Underworld and Eden, but it can refer to the realm as a whole as well. Most of the realm consists of a rather dystopian surface - smaller villages and towns often being rebuilt or covered in rubble from demonic attacks, sometimes even lacking electricity. Bigger cities are regarded as safer, since they are able to fend of danger at the gates. As such, they are more advanced and connected to the rest of the world. Even with these protections, demons are certainly walking amongst people here, escaping the underworld for one reason or another- some undetected, others more forward. It is no wonder that special groups to deal with the demon issue have been created, and that many humans choose to beg the angelus for help.
Sometimes, random patches of lucious nature appear, being thought of as a wonder sent by the Angelus, and often being cause for a new settlement to form. Currently, no one really knows if that is true, however.

Eden, aka Paradise. While unreachable for most humans, it is not quite a differnt realm or dimension. Eden is located at the top of the tallest mountain range within Gaianu, far up within the clouds, where the walls of the mountains are so steep that climbing them turns impossible for regular beings. Yet even those with the ability of flight will have trouble finding the Angelus home, as it has been hidden by a powerful magical barrier that will not grant entry to anyone: As such, only Angelus themselves may enter or leave freely (unless their right to has explicitly been revoked). Anyone else would need to be accompanied or invited.
Overall, Eden is a place painted in greens and gold. Nature thrives, so do natural springs. Many of their buildings as well as some smaller islands are kept afloat by magic, especially the upper areas which are not to be entered by those few unfortunate ones incapable of flight. The outward grandeur certainly leaves an impact, but not everything that shines is gold. Many Angelus think that descending to Gaianu to interact with humans and demons is a fun past time...

A world taken over by demons, located deep within Gaianu's core. It's the birthplace of demons and a thriving society on its own, although rather dark and bleak in appearance. Contrary to popular belief, demons live with their own rules and justice system, and fucking around with the overworld too much is not within those rules. After all, the archdemons have plans of their own in the ever ongoing struggle versus humans and angelus. And who would want to risk those being foiled by idiots?
