About

Velarune, world of Dreams and Nightmares. In order to fly, produce fire, or fight, Equos employ a kind of magic inherent to them. For the most part, Velarune used to be a prosperous, flourishing place no matter where one went. Whether it be in the clouds and floating islands of Somnium, the down to earth land of Veritas, the blazing hot deserts of Sabulum, or the underwater cities of Altum. While tensions between Somnium and the rest of the world are old and ongoing, they are nothing compared to the chaos that was the creation of the Nether. Out of nowhere, once blooming and bright areas turned dark, dull, liveless - and with it, horrible creatures emerged from a gigantic, ominous rift. These creatures, now named Equos Infernalis due to their resemblance to the Equos, have started spreading further and further across the realm - a very real nightmare in a dream-like world.
