Pantheons, personifications, and creatures of peril: The Realms are no stranger to beliefs held only by a few.

About

Each Realm is bound to have those they hold in high regard, names which are known by nearly every resident and which are often integrated into their societies.  Even so, each also is bound to have niche mythology alongside or opposing it. These names may only be known to a few, but to those few, they are just as important.

It's inevitable that with the Reflection at their hand, those who represent these smaller beleifs make use of its power. For mystical healing, nefarity, or perhaps just to connect with those in similar situations. Were they to meet, the idea of an alliance isn't out of the question, either. Some may see it as a club, others as a union, or perhaps even just strings they can pull to take advantage of if needed. Soon enough, the niche mythologia of the Realms will form a community of their own.

--❦--

This faction is for any characters who are non-canonical mythological beings (or at least thought to be so by a group in their lore). This can vary wildly, from dangerous creatures children are told stories of at night, to personifications of objects or concepts, to prophets, spirits, divine healers, deities, reincarnations, and more. In non-magical realms, even just a native who has some way to bring in magic might end up the subject of myth.

The "arrangement" of the faction is rather loose. There's not really an agreed-upon reason for its existence, or any real structure to it. It moreso exists because it's a rare group of people who have reason to connect with one another over their shared identity. Rarely are there meetups or group events, rather it's a web of connections between who knows who. Personal visits and small outings between portions of the web are much more common.

By joining, your characters will gain more opportunities to develop their mythology and react to the mythologies of others.
