Preparation & Into the Nether
- "Be ready. Be vigiliant."
Turturel nodded silently after hearing Mar speak about their next destination. So the problems are not from the Infernalis or the nightmare side that has cooperated with them since then. The cause of this chaotic event is still unknown, and now is the time for them to take steps as soon as possible. But departing tomorrow already? Turturel is still very tired. She had a busy day helping people ouit with so many wounded and clueless Equos. It's clear that the realm is in so much chaos, but to be honest, she is not sure about this at all. She doesn't like dark, unexplored, and mysterious places. Without the harsh environment there, Turturel is already in an exhausted phase. But backing off at this point? Doesn't sound like a good idea. People need her, as they will be much weaker and easier to get hurt in the Nether. It's her responsibility to ensure the wounds won't put them at risk.
- Thank you. I will leave for some preparing now.
She left Mar back to his thoughts and slowly walked away. It's still a bit too early to get some sleep, so the little girl used some magic to teleport to the seaside. In there, she walks by the horizon line, watching the sun setting down in a beautiful canvas of stunning colors. Her little fingers rub the sand off some shells to see if it is broken or not. The most pretty ones got dropped in her handmade bag. She'll need a lot of them later.
The designated time comes quickly. Turturel was nervous and drowned in thoughts when she was trying to sleep, so she cast a spell to force herself into unconsciousness. There are lots of Equos gathered in the place where Mar announced, waiting to make their moves into the Nether. Sounds of their hooves scratching the ground are everywhere, showing nervous or impatient states. The little girl silently joins them as she gets close to the center, where Mar and Rêve seem to have a little chat while waiting for more people. It's quicker than she expected, just like a blink, and then they speak loudly, telling all the Equos to start moving. Follow the group; she approaches the dark land of Nether.
Greeted her is a heavy, freezing cold breeze that embraces her face before flying to the side and going away. Turturel closed her eyes and stayed near the group. The ground is so soft, sometimes gooey with a mysterious black liquid, which makes them feel unsafe whenever their hooves touch a soft spot. There are traps and dangerous spells that have been set in the dark, borrowing the spookiness to hide themselves. This place is not only scary; it's also threatening. If one ever dares to stray far from the group, death will be the only thing to welcome them. This environment is also shouting to their face silently, telling them to head back and go away. This makes her very uncomfortable. But from the start, Turturel already knows this won't be easy. Backing up is not in the plan, and she won't ever do it.
