Apple Powers | Casual Floucan Diet
Stellamaris didn't exactly like companions, he found them to be a little annoying more than anything else- but like a lot of things that he didn't quite like, the universe had a way to get him to interact with them anyways. In this particular instance, he was currently staring down two floucan, who in turn was staring back up at him. Apparently, his friend had been far too busy to take care of them inbetween all of the small little get-togethers that he had through the day, so it ended up being Stellamaris' job. He sighed, looking through the bag of items he had been given when the two companions entered his home. A few apples, some care supplies, and a note. He looked at the note, realizing it was some instructions that he hadn't been given verbally.
"Feeding time; Please make sure to feed Loveless and Aquarium their apples- Loveless only eats the winged apples, and Aquairum only eats the bubbly apples. If you need more, call me and I can get you money to buy more off of Midgardsormr. Hugs and kisses, good luck."
Stellamaris sighed, putting the note down and picking up one of the apples. He could obviously tell that it was the Bubbly Apple, considering that it had little bubbles on the skin of the fruit. The equos shivered at the sight- unable to keep his mind from thinking of how disgusting it would feel to eat an apple with bubbles in the skin. It was even disgusting to touch, Stellamaris grabbing either side of it and pulling the fruit apart. He split it into four pieces, small enough to where he was sure t hat the Floucan wouldn't choke, but big enough to where the companions would be able to see the colors of the fruit and not get their food mixed up.
When he placed down the apple pieces, both of the companions ran over to try and eat at them. Thankfully, Stellamaris was quick to react, grabbing the pink Floucan and lifting them up to his side. The Feathered beast squawked unhappily at him, but he didn't pay it any mind. What he did pay mind to was when the creature bit his arm with their beak. He hissed in pain, his free hand already digging through the bag to find the other apple. "Would you stop doing that, I'm getting you your food!" Stellamaris yelled, but it was clear the Floucan didn't understand him, continuing to bite at his arm.
Eventually, he got his hands on the Winged Apple. He didn't even try to tear apart the apple at first, instead just offering the full thing to the companion in his grasp. Once it came into the Floucan's view, it made a much happier noise, reaching out with its beak in order to tear off one of the wings of the apple. Though it was a small piece, it was still enough to calm it down enough for Stellamaris to put it down and actually segment the apple properly.
This apple was a bit tougher to break into than the Bubbly Apple, no doubt because a fruit that waterlogged had to gain some sort of fragility in the process, but he did eventually get the pieces torn apart and placed down next to the pink Floucan. Thankfully, the Aqueous Floucan seemed to have no interest in the other's meal. Whether that was because they had already been fed or because they weren't interested in the pink apple was unknown, but in all honesty, Stellamaris didn't care. He just sat down on the ground and watched the two of them for a while.
One thing was for sure, he still didn't like companions. In fact, maybe he hated them now.
