She was rumored to be crazed
-Hey, did you see that woman? What's wrong with her?
-I don't know, she may be up to no good. Shhh, just keep going. It's none of our business.
Two human girls were passing a grass field, urging others to run faster. The rain shower, another sudden gift from the autumn, is starting to fall. People around try to head back home as fast as possible, not everyone wants to wear wet clothes that will soon become heavy. Even the Fauns don't want to get wet because of the teeth-clenching cold breezes that comes with the rain. This place, a vast field, was soon absent. No one is here except a woman in dirty clothes. Her appearance clearly shows a lack of care. The yellow dyed hair color has lost its effect, leaving large spots of black hair, its original color, to be seen. But it looks like the dye still wants to brag about its existence until the last second. The yellow didn't fully vanish, but it's mixed with black to create a messy-looking shade of hazelnuts. That woman is keeping her head down; her face stays hidden. Her hands have a lot of wet dirt on them. She sat there, unmoved, just waiting for the rain to come.
-Should we help her?
-No, she's not in danger or in need of help. She was rumored to be crazed. We should better stay away.
A familiar short conversation between humans or fauns who come across her This woman was always outside, sitting silently on cold days that had showers. Today is just like other days. Tsuki is not a total psycho. She acts normally most of the time, and people around her village used to call her "The Ronin". A friendly, kind, whole-hearted woman who has an energetic personality gives you the same impression as a young girl. Although she has a scary face, Tsuki is a positive, trustworthy person. She helps people overcome their dark moments, uses her strength to protect the weak, and stands up to speak if there's something unfair around. But whenever the rain fell, she would wander to a faraway, vast field, where people could no longer recognize her, to sit down and drown herself in thoughts.
-I apologize. Everything I have done, I apologize.
That's what she will say when she's sure that nobody's here. At first, she crossed her hands and prayed. Under the rain, she feels the heavy drops hit her skin. Face up to the sky for the rain to fall on her cheek. It looks like tears. Even when Tsuki has fled to this new world, there's still no way for her to run away from her karma. She closed her eyes and kept apologizing. Say it again, ten times, one hundred times, five hundred times,... until the feeling of fire starts to burn her from inside. The pain forced her to open her mouth and let out a broken scream.
-I'm sorry!
She repeated it as they came down to play with her in this eternal inferno. The raindrops will turn red, and time will stop counting down. This world will stop flowing, with only her being abandoned here alone, taking all the pain and blame. Soon, the blood will be flooded as the rain keeps pouring down. She'll die inside of it, coming deeper down, leaving her body to a large devil's hand...
Tsuki opened her eyes. The rain has stopped. Her body was still refusing to move. It feels like a quick wave of electrocution. She stood up again, the sereneness spreading inside of her, which brightened up a smile on her lips. If there's no escape, there's redemption.
