Blue Blue Ocean

"Hello one, hello all. This is the anti-Utopia crowd. We arrived at the desired world, it might take time to find the culprits and her assistants. I'm Blue, over."

The little girl in a dark corner of the deep sea city closed her laptop after sending out her short message. She knows the small WiFi connector she brought with her will run out of battery soon; it shouldn't be wasted on long, unnecessary messages. Only letting RMB know how she is was enough. The little one feels tired as there are only a few things she remembers about how she got there. Blue was her "name", Maybe it's how she descended into a deep oceanic city. Blue closed her eyes to remember, and after a minute, her memories returned like a gentle wave.

So she agreed to enter this universe to look for the Utopia Creator. After leaving the old world, she opened her eyes as the feeling of safety slowly warmed her up. Welcoming the newborn sight to this new realm, a bunch of vivid colors spread on the background of nonstop-moving white grids. They are so beautiful, like a mesmerizing art performance, when it calms a confused soul with energetic palettes, moving around with special routines. There is so much light, with countless color-changing light trails leading the lost in different directions. Blue couldn't remember how much time she spent just watching this colorful place move naturally. Its sparkling, glittering surface lures her with this unspeakable beauty, maybe there's a dim hand holding her gently and pulling her over to its place. But then a voice rose up to wake her from this daydream.

-Hey...

The voice itself was also dim and resounding, like it wasn't real. But the figure who was standing there isn't. Their colorful bodies mark their existence more clearly than ever than any other being here. Blue silently looked at it curiously.

-It's dangerous to wander alone.

It kept resonating. Is this a ghost? Is it a guide or something else? She knows nothing here, putting her guard high is really the only thing one could do. Before she could ask further questions, a simple speech popped out.

-What is this place? 

Blue asked with a warm smile for this sudden encounter. She is still quite conscious, but it's a lie to say this place is soul-drivingly beautiful. So is this being. They look a bit human-like, but with slimey hair, unnatural skin color, and multiple color trails, she can be sure it's not the same as her kind. It might bring something dangerous. That creature's voice stopped the flow of her thoughts.

-The Reflection. You shouldn't be here. Where are you heading?

A nice question in this situation would wake up her brain and tell it to work. Where is she actually heading? The place where Utopia's creators hide But the information those Oqua reporters sold her said that there are (maybe) multiple creators. They are shattered into multiple realms, but all of them seem to have relationships, or at least are linked to each other. So, there's no certain location she'd like to travel to.

-Anywhere.

Blue said that her childish voice doesn't seem to reflect her complex and mature thoughts at all. This girl only looked like a stray, or whoever it is, and only appeared to have fun around.

The creature nodded, and then she felt the warm and salty ocean water surrounding her suddenly. It is sunny above; that's because of the light rays she saw striking through the water. While she lost her consciousness, leaving her body to be pulled down deeper, Blue could feel something like a hand that grabbed her leg. It did not hurt at all. 

That's how she got to this city called Levitheas. The label that writes its name glows on the gate to this city. She wonders, How can they let a human inside this city without asking for papers or anything else? But out of her expectations, other humans do live here, even when they're not as many as the bunny-eared beings with fins that can breathe underwater. The humans have something that looks like a bubble surround their heads to help them breathe; this reminds her that she can't breathe underwater either. As she raised her hand, Blue realized that she was also wearing a bubble. When did she buy that? 

It looks like there's someone who is very kind who took care of her while she was unconscious. But now, where are they? She doesn't know, maybe they're looking for her. But she has wandered far away from the place where she woke up, it's hard to find it back, and she wouldn't want to return, either. This city is large and not really crowded, but there are lots of paths to go down. She stopped by a souvenir store. A young man greets her with a bright voice and outstretched arms. He's a bunny-eared creature. These ones seem to have a good relationship with humans.

-What would you like to buy? There is a wide choice of stuff, such as seashell carvings, decorative jellyfish,...

-I'm sorry, sir.

The little girl whispered, her eyes looked up, full of small tears.

-I'm not here to buy... I'm a newcomer, and I want to ask for the job recruiting center or anywhere that accepts humans to work.

The shopkeeper stopped smiling, he looked at the girl curiously, then burst into laughter. That's a sign of success, because she planned to make herself naive and silly-looking.

-Oh, my God of the Ocean, dear! You sounded absolutely amateurish here! No need to be so nervous! We won't bite, as all the Tideborns here only want to enjoy peace. Life's harsh, isn't it? Come here, we'll welcome you into the city of tranquility, Levitheas. Here, I have a friend who owns a restaurant that's looking for waiters. But hey, are you underage? You need to be at least 19 to work here.

Blue smiled brightly as her plan seemed to run smoothly. She doesn't want to harm anyone, if they don't touch her first, she'll just enjoy a peaceful life that's as normal as possible. Her energy should be saved for future chaos.

-I am more than 19, sir. I am much older. Thank you for helping. I'll come see the restaurant owner.
