Mitsuyo can appear quite serious and emotionless but around those he opens up to they get to see the real side of him.  With Suzaku its like he is a different person, laughing, joking and messing around, a complete contrast to his usual serious behaviour. Like his best friend, you can also find Mitsuyo training daily, but with a bow instead of swords, and often he will be somewhere high up practicing his flexibility and agility. Due to being from a family of hunters, the bow comes naturally to him, but that's not the only skill he has, time within nature has allowed him to gain advantage in nearly every situation due to his mindset of, "Anything be used as a weapon, if you put your mind to it". He has been particularly noted for his ability of trap crafting and taking his opponents by surprise. Oh and another little thing you should know, he makes an excellent cook.
