When doing art (drawn or written) of any character related to Realms Away, you will be awarded coins! There are two major ways of earning coins like this: Via general art submission, or via prompts. Please keep in mind that changes to these rates may be made later on if deemed necessary.

We reserve the right to reject art that appears to have been made with as little effort as possible for the sole purpose of grinding coins. We also reserve the right to make changes to the rewards in favor of balancing the game.

Submitting Prompts

TLDR;

• You can submit a prompt here!
• You may submit one (1) prompt per artwork!
• Prompt: Choose the prompt you worked on.
• Collaborator(s): Add any other artists you collabed with here. 
• Submission URL: Add a link to your work. You can host your artwork in the prompt or general artwork gallery, or any image host of your choice that we can access for approval.
• Comments: If you have anything else to say to mods!
• Coin Reward Calculator: Add the calculators you need that best describe your art & fill them out.
• Prompt Rewards: Nothing to do here. Prompts grant their default rewards automatically. Do not add any yourself.
• Characters: Optional, but must be added for prompts that give out rewards to a characer.
• Add Ons: Nothing to do here.

General Artwork

Any artwork that wasn't drawn for a specific prompt can still earn you coins!

• You can post to the Artwork subgalleries or an image host of your choice, and then submit it to the General Artwork prompt!
• This allows you to add art rewards via the coin rewards calculator, but does not have any extra/default reward like other prompts do.

Prompt Artwork

A a coin reward always goes on top of a specific prompt reward!

• If your art is prompt related, you should post it to the Prompt Gallery.  It does not matter if the prompt in question is seasonal, for an event, or just a general/monthly prompt!

Collab Artwork

You may collaborate prompts or general artwork with others!

• A collab prompt should be submitted once by one participant only. They should add all collaborators during the submission!
• All collaborators and the submitting user will get the full prompt rewards upon approval.
• The coin rewards from calculators are divided by the amount of people that worked on the image.
• All collaborators will be notified when the prompt is approved.
• If you collabed with someone on a prompt, you must show at least one character per artist involved. This is to prevent collabs from being abused to earn easier prompt rewards (eg. 10 people "collab" one character and get full prompt rewards).

Masterlist Artwork

Any artwork/design for the masterlist may also be handed in for coin rewards!

• Please use the New life, new stories prompt to do so! 

Drawn Rewards

To ensure a minimum amount of effort goes into any art posted for coins, these rules apply to drawn art:

• Bases are only usable one time if you are the creator of the base!
• There is no differene between feral or humanoid characters.
• Be honest when filling out the reward calculators, our mods will check agaisnt it during approval. 
• If you are unsure/have a question, you are always free to ask!

Drawn art (Character)

The calculator takes many different styles and combinations of art into account. All coin rewards the calculator gives out will lie between the below min and max values depending on your specific choices!

Maximum Rewards
A lined, full color painted fullbody will net you 75.
A lined, full color painted halfbody or chibi will net you 53.
A lined, full color painted bust will net you 38 .
A lined, full color painted blob/companion will net you 15.

Minimum Rewards (Keep in mind that clean sketches count as lined!)
A sketched, no color no shading fullbody will net you 8.
A sketched, no color no shading halfbody or chibi will net you 6.
A sketched, no color no shading bust will net you 4 .
A sketched, no color no shading blob/companion will net you 2.

Character Count	Multiplies the result of the previous steps by amount of characters.
Character Gift	+ 10 bonus for each character that is gift art. Companions do not count for this bonus!
Base	Halves the total reward if a base was used.

Drawn art (Background)

Add  this to the reward calculator if you have drawn a background. Single color backgrounds with simple patterns do not count.

Simple - A background without major depth/details that still shows a clearly recognizable location. A background can also be simple if you used props with your character, or a painted over/edited photo background. Examples: 1 2 3 4

Complex - A highly detailed background with depth added to it. Has a clear foreground, middleground and background. It may also qualify as complex if it has a lot of highly detailed elements. All parts of the background should be hand drawn, although use of foilage brushes or the likes is fine! Examples: 1 2 3 4

Uncolored - Backgrounds that are not colored and rough, hinting at a scene composition.
