Companions are small critters, or sometimes even objects with a soul, that can be found in any realm and the reflection. They begin their existence in a sleeping form and can be awakened through careful care, or by feeding them elemental energies. Each Companion type comes with a base element that they are attuned to, but by feeding them energies of a different type, some may obtain a second element. For some, these beings are simply pets and friends - but a handful of companions are capable of more than that.

Artefact Powers

These special creatures are often referred to as having artefact powers, which is denoted by a little star. This allows them to share Their elemental magic with someone they have a strong bond with, potentially granting them the alter transformation! In order to unlock a second element, a companion needs to have artefact powers.

Stay tuned to learn more about alters in future!

Apples - their favorite food

There are many ways to get apples on this site! Apples are used to awaken or change a companions secondary element / variant.

Awaken your Companions

Daily care
  • Once a day, you can care for your companion eggs in your companion garden! Eventually, they will hatch.
  • They can hatch with a star, meaning they have artefact powers, or without one.
Feeding
  • Feeding a companion an apple of their element will instantly awake them!
  • When awoken this way, they are guaranteed to have artefact powers.

Unlocking a second Element

  • To unlock a secondary element and as such a new form, the companion needs to have artefact powers!
  • This can happen by chance from hatching via care, or by feeding them an apple of their own element.
  • Once they have the powers, symbolized by a little star, you can unlock a second element!
  • Simply feed them another apple of the second element you want to give them.
  • Keep in mind that the element must be available on the companion index, or it will not work!

Show your bond

  • You can name your companions in your companion garden
  • You can also attach them to any of your characters, which will cause them to show up on said characters profile.
  • In future, there will be prompts related to companions that will allow your character to unlock a special form via their bond!
