Reverie always had an affinity for infernal magic, and being a natural pyromaniac helped push him towards his path. But he hated how unrefined he was during his early years. It was always "too rough", "too ashy". And that was when he found out how to disguise his magic, somehow figuring out how to mask the scent with sweet strawberries and honeyed terms. Slowly over time, he changed his wardrobe to match his preferences.

Despite his constant desire to set something on fire, Reverie is a very formal person. He speaks politely and shows utmost care in his outward appearance. He would enjoy a cold dessert no matter the weather, citing that his body temperature is always a little higher than most.
