Underwater Cleanup
Lake walked along the beach that above the waters of his home, his pink eyes drifting to his Narui companion, Lian as he drifted along in the waters as Lake walked the shoreline. He’d pinned his long blue hair up to keep it out of his face but he knew that the moment he dove into the waters that it would probably come loose if he didn’t use a little magic to keep it in place as he swam. Coming to a rock that jutted out slightly over the water, Lake carefully climbed his way up it and stood, looking around for a few moments.
A soft noise caught his attention and he noticed Lian swimming around near the rock, staring up at him. A quiet chuckle escaped him but he nodded his head so Lian swam a short distance away so Lake took a couple of steps backwards on the rock then he rushed forward, diving gracefully into the water with practiced ease.
A small ball of light he’d conjured helped light his way as he swam down, Lake slowly swimming his way towards the bottom of the part of the waters he was swimming within, his pink eyes drifting to and fro as he took in each fish that swam past him, each turtle that idly swam about then he paused, floating in place when his gaze caught sight of something buried under the sands. Continuing on his journey, Lake reached where he’d spotted something under the sands and Lian carefully swam in front of him, watching the Lovabun curiously as he carefully dug under the sands.
Heaving out a slightly annoyed sigh, Lake pulled up the tangled bits of fishing line that seemed to be wrapped around some sort of junk that had been thrown into the waters and had apparently been pulled towards his home with the tides. Grabbing the bag at his hip, he placed the trash into it and pulled the laces tight to close it yet again and continued his swim, pausing every so often in order to clean up some of the trash that was either buried in the sands or that nearly got tangled around one of the creatures swimming in the waters.
If he didn’t spot something, Lian would go around and swim, now knowing what Lake was searching for and if Lian spotted something that he knew didn’t belong in the waters then he would swim over to Lake and lead him over to what he’d found so that Lake could grab it and place it in his bag with the rest of the trash he’d cleaned up.
