Other than just scales, these dragons sport a mix of fur and feathers, usually covering their legs and tail. They tend to be fond of heights and are the most skilled at flight, reaching the highest speeds only matched by few dragons.

Common design points:

• Fuzzy ears!
• Smooth skin and feathery/furry bits
• regular tail with or without fur
• any sort of horns
• optional dragon- or feathered wings, 1 set!
• optional spikes
• clawed feet with 3-4 claws
• quite colorful / vast range, although patches of human skin are ok (depends on how your dragon likes to shift)
